He squeezed my cheek!

Yes, the guy who just squeezed my cheek was Sir Ian Mckellen!

Sir Ian McKellen as Gandalf in the Lord of the Rings

It all begins by me and Derrick joining Jin's dining session in Inner Temple. I wrinkled up my forehead in perplexity when people around me started to shout that Sir Ian Mckellen is here, having drinking session with us before the dining started. It was quite shameful for me for not knowing him before i actually saw him. My immediate reaction after seeing him was like: Ohh!! the X men guy!!

Me and My Housemate, Jin taken during dining.

During dining, I actually recalled from the conversation I had with my friends that the character he acted in X men is called "Magneto" and of course he is also famous of acting as "Gandalf" in the Lord of the Rings.

I swear he was just sitting behind me which my friends, derrick and Nori had direct, full view of him for the whole night! He was then asked by the Master Treasurer to give a speech which he then acted a Shakespeare play. Well, although he looks like an ordinary man in reality and i didn't really know what he was acting, but still, I must admit that his acting was just too stunning!

Evidence showing that he was just sitting behind me.

The best part had yet to come! After dining, we approached him to express our admiration towards him which he kindly responded to us. He shaked our hands ( his hand was quite thick), gave autograph to one of my friends, Kim and even hug my housemate, Jin!! ( I am sure that Jin will spend her whole life talking about it). He then went out to have a smoke.

People were trying to approach him, but few with success.

When we were preparing to go home excitedly, he re-enterred the hall again and walked pass us. When he was walking pass me, he suddenly holds out both of his hands and squeezed my cheek tightly! It was so unexpectedly! It was indeed the highlight of the night. Thanks to Jin, without her invitation i would not be squeezed by him!

Why Should I Vote?

Many apologies to my “Blog’s Fanz” for not constantly updating my blog. It is very obvious that I once again failed to fight against the my lazy evilness. As the Malaysia’s general election is around the corner, it is time to talk about politics, something young adult, like you may not interested in.

Many of my friends know I like politics, some even ask me whether I will join politics in the future. Well, I can tell you firmly that the answer will be a negative one. I believe a person need to have passion for it, it is not simply a passion to be a politician, but a strong passion to serve the people and the nation. Yes, I know is bullshit, but this is what most the politicians use as a slogan for their election campaign. It is a public secret that most of Malaysia politicians, even some of the opposition MPs, fail to do so. Pointing at the polluted drainage which subsequently appear in the newspaper is what most of the politicians' regarded it as a way to serve the people and nation. Of course, I am definitely not going to be one of them man. Thus, despite the fact that I love politics, becoming a politician is not my cup of tea, not because I do not have passion to be a politician, but simply because I do not possess the true quality which a politician should have, i.e. the sincerity and the passion to serve the people and the nation. This is also one of the reasons i decided to be a superstar instead.

Restaurant, café, Kompitiam are places where most of the people express their view in politics after having their meal. They often complain about the government on how they ill-treated them, some of them even went on to critic the opposition for their inability to solve their problems. Nevertheless, from what I observed, those people especially young adult hardly come out to vote on the Election Day, simply because they strongly believe that their one single vote would not make a huge difference in the election. Well, this is absolutely untrue! Even if the party or the politician you supported did not win in the end, it still means a lot for them. A winning MP will tend to show greater assiduity in "serving the people" if he won the election by 5 votes as supposed to 5000 votes. Therefore, you should not underestimate your vote, and of course not a single one!

Cherish the single vote you have that will make a change.

Obviously, the purpose of posting this article, is not aimed to ask you to vote for whoever politician or whatever political party, it is simply aimed to encourage you to fulfil your responsibility as a citizen and to exercise your right to vote which this democratic country granted you. This could be the only chance in five years time for you to make a change and make a minor contribution to your beloved country. Of course, you have the discretion not to vote, however, if you decided to do so, please be reminded that you should not make any comment or complaint to the government or the opposition, simply because you have not make any effort in changing this country to be better.

Last but not least, please believe that your vote is valuable and as what U.S. Senator Barack Obama says: "We can! We can make a change! " when the American undermined his ability to be the Next and First Black American President.

Obama proves to the supporters that he can make a change, despite the American questioned his ability to be the Next American President.

Everything

Michael Buble - Everything lyrics

You're a falling star, You're the get away car.
You're the line in the sand when I go too far.
You're the swimming pool, on an August day.
And you're the perfect thing to say.

And you play it coy, but it's kinda cute.
Ah, When you smile at me you know exactly what you do.
Baby don't pretend, that you don't know it's true.
Cause you can see it when I look at you.

[Chorus:]
And in this crazy life, and through these crazy times
It's you, it's you, You make me sing.
You're every line, you're every word, you're everything.

You're a carousel, you're a wishing well,
And you light me up, when you ring my bell.
You're a mystery, you're from outer space,
You're every minute of my everyday.

And I can't believe, uh that I'm your man,
And I get to kiss you baby just because I can.
Whatever comes our way, ah we'll see it through,
And you know that's what our love can do.

[Chorus:]
And in this crazy life, and through these crazy times
It's you, it's you, You make me sing
You're every line, you're every word, you're everything.

So, La, La, La, La, La, La, La
So, La, La, La, La, La, La, La

[Chorus:]
And in this crazy life, and through these crazy times
It's you, it's you, You make me sing.
You're every line, you're every word, you're everything.
You're every song, and I sing along.
'Cause you're my everything.
Yeah, yeah

So, La, La, La, La, La, La, La
So, La, La, La, La, La, La, La, La, La, La, La
